I specialize in child, adolescent, and family issues. My private practice office locations are in Littleton and Evergreen, Colorado.
Services that I provide include the following: assessment and intervention for learning and behavioral difficulties, psychotherapy including play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, parent coaching and consultation, educational consultation, classroom observations, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan consultation, divorce or post-divorce counseling, grief counseling, intervention for adjustment difficulties and school refusal, crisis management, and trauma intervention. I also provide educational group counseling pertaining to issues of anxiety, conflict resolution, peer relationships, and study skills. I can provide updates to your child's pediatrician, physician, psychiatrist, or teacher upon your request.
I am a professionally certified professional with Think:Kids (thinkkids.org) affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and trained in using the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. Collaborative Problem Solving is a cognitive behavioral skill based approach that treats youth with challenging behaviors while simultaneously providing skills in cognitive flexibility and problem solving. Collaborative problem solving is a revolutionary, evidence-based approach for helping children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.
